What happens to a part here
- 01Mould developmentDies, moulds and fixtures are made before a part goes into production, so a new handle body or bracket does not wait on an outside tool shop.
- 02StampingPlates, brackets, stays and transmission profiles are punched and formed from sheet.
- 03Die castingHandle bodies, hinge parts and lock components are cast in alloy.
- 04Injection mouldingShims, support blocks and plastic parts are moulded in-house.
- 05Surface finishingThe finish a buyer specifies: anodised, powder-coated or plated, in the colour agreed for the order.
- 06AssemblyParts are assembled into sets, checked and packed by window type for export.
Checking, at three points
Quality here is a set of checks in the line, not a poster on the wall. Parts are checked when they arrive, while they are being made, and again before the set is boxed.

Incoming material
Castings, sheet and bought-in components are checked before they enter the line.
In process
Inspectors check parts during production rather than only at the end, so a drifting dimension is caught while the run is still running.
Before packing
Assembled sets are checked against the configuration sheet for the window type before they are boxed.
